Coupled with colourful Easter eggs, gorgeous Easter ornaments, dainty Easter serveware or tasty Easter treats, there are many ways to create floral Easter décor that goes above and beyond a flower in a vase. Here are 3 of our favourite ways to create Easter floral décor for your home.

Firstly, to help put together your compilation of Easter floral décor, keep in mind the type of mood or theme you would like to create. When talking florals; colours that are less saturated typically give off a more relaxing vibe (think light pink, pale yellow, white, etc). Bolder and more saturated colours, such as bright purple, red and fuchsia generally bring more vibrance and energy to the room.

#2 Easter Floral Décor for the Table

Due to their typically central location, tables are the ideal place to display Easter floral décor and often provide the most space to really get creative. Here is some easy-to-achieve inspiration for Easter floral décor on the table.

Garland and Easter Ornaments

Place a garland of Easter florals on the table first – either stretching from one end of the table to the other, or bunch it up in the middle. Then place some Easter ornaments amongst the flowers. Our paper garland with fairy lights is a great option for this and looks fantastic at night!

Alternatively, use our pastel Easter egg and leaf garland, then scatter a selection of Easter floral décor pieces throughout it. For added sparkle with this option at night, add a string of battery-operated fairy lights or some tea light candles.

Easter Egg Floral Centrepiece

Following the above idea, eggs and florals look magic together at Easter time, especially when combined as a table centrepiece. One of our favourite ways to do this is by creating a vase of eggs with an arrangement of flowers in the top.

To do this, you will need two vases of similar or same shapes (cylinder vases are ideal); one wider than the other. Place the smaller vase into the larger vase. Fill the void created between the two vases with coloured eggs or candy. You can also use coloured stones or feathers. Then place your arrangement of Easter floral décor into the empty vase in the middle. If you are using artificial Easter florals, you might like to add some sand in the bottom of the vase to help keep the arrangement in place. If you wanted to add more height and depth, use some taller twigs or sprays amongst the flowers.

#3 Reinvented Easter Floral Décor

If you already embrace touches of nature inside your home, then you already have the perfect base for creating some very simple Easter floral décor.

Potted Herbs

Potted herbs are very easy to “Easterise” by simply tying some burlap or ribbon around the pot to make a bow. Then glue a lovely Easter floral to the middle of the bow. If size permits, you could also drop a few Easter eggs amongst the herbs or around the pots, as well as some cute Easter ornaments too.

Indoor Plants

Here’s some quick options for transforming your indoor plants into simple Easter floral décor, depending on the size of the indoor plant.

  • use the method above – tie a decorative floral ribbon around the plant pot
  • add some ornamental flowers amongst the plants and nestle in some cute Easter characters like our calico Easter chicks

For splashes of nature and even more touches of Easter floral décor around the home, why not reinvent some mason jars or old tins into Easter vases and pots to house a bunch of Easter florals and décor. This can be as simple as spraying jars with paint, adding some natural or coloured twine or glitter to the outside, then arranging some flowers into your newly invited vases. Use various sizes bunched together for more depth and interest. Place these around the home for an instant boost and plenty of Easter cheer with very limited expense.
